Description
This beautiful villa is located in a quiet rural setting, making it the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The villa successfully combines a breath of secession, French chic, Mediterranean simplicity and industrial details.
The ground floor offers you a beautiful and spacious open concept layout of the kitchen, living room and dining room, providing you with everything you need for a perfect vacation. There are 3 double rooms available on the first floor. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, as well as a private bathroom and a large comfortable shared terrace in the shade. The living room itself, which irresistibly resembles the interior of smaller castles, is equipped with Roche Bobois sofas brought from Verona, a Bose surround system, antique chandeliers and a billiard table handmade in Italian Siena, and the entire space is styled with decorations, works of art and antiques that the owner brought over the years from trips from all over the world, as well as details from Barbara Streisand's house bought at a private auction.
From the living room you can exit to a covered terrace with a view of the forest and meadows and the sea, and staying on both terraces offers enjoyment of the beautiful Istrian sunsets, privacy and silence provided by the untouched nature that surrounds the villa.
The villa was built with local stone and natural materials. It is fully in harmony with the landscape and adapted to traditional architecture.
The exterior of the villa will leave you breathless. The villa also offers a jacuzzi. From the yard and from the verandas of the house you can enjoy evenings and the starry sky, as well as the rich colors of magical sunsets. Just as charming as the interior itself is the garden of the villa, and its special feature is the oval infinity pool and hydromassage pool located above it, a rustically built outdoor shower with a waterfall and a lounge area or salon with comfortable seating and cocktail sipping area.
In a separate part of the garden there is also a barbecue and a brick pizza oven, and the entire property is adorned with huge bushes of lavender, lavish laurels and olives. The villa is excellently positioned to enjoy the charms of privacy and silence and close to medieval towns such as Motovun, Hum - the smallest city in the world, Pula with its Roman amphitheater built in the 1st century, Livade known for truffles, Grožnjan, Rovinj thermal baths and many other beautiful and charming places. From Poreč you can take a day trip by boat to Venice. It is also perfectly positioned for easy access to the beautiful Istrian coast with excellent beaches and fishing spots for windsurfing, diving and so on. A large number of excellent restaurants are located in all directions.
